Good evening! I hope you are doing well. Your response to your assignment submission is so far good. From tomorrow I will be sending some reading material and guidelines for revising for your exams. Please follow up on this from tomorrow morning.
Good evening to you all. In the course outline we are required to study key scholars in African music. There are about 70 such scholars and the number keeps on increasing. Therefore, for the purposes of this course we will be required to cover at least 5 scholars. You can, however, individually go beyond the FIVE I have recommended for your own understanding. The ones will officially cover will: Kwabena Nketia, Kofi Agawu, Akin Euba, Justinian Tamusuza, and Joshua Uzoigwe. I will be sending materials on each systematically. Please make your own notes on each (limiting yourself on life history, publications (at most 10) and works (at most 10) and submit. See attached material on Professor Kwabena Nketia.
